Safe Space hi and welcome I created this space just for you a calm caring place to talk
Hi, and welcome! I created this space just for you — a calm, caring place to talk about coming out or anything else that's on your mind. Whether you're just starting to explore who you are, thinking about telling someone, or just need to feel seen and heard, you're in the right place. I understand how tough and emotional this journey can be. Not just from experience supporting loved ones but from over 27 years working as a PSO in the industry, listening to and holding space for all kinds of stories. I'm also a trained mental health nurse (though I don't work in the field anymore), and I've completed many counselling courses, so I genuinely understand how complex, raw, and powerful your feelings can be. This is a judgment-free zone where you can open up, vent, cry, laugh, or just be quiet and read until you're ready to share. Your story matters. Your identity is valid. And you don't have to carry it alone. Come as you are. Get it off your chest. Let's talk truly, openly, and safely.
My Goals/AdviceTo create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. To help others feel seen, heard, and validated, especially when it comes to coming out, self-acceptance, or navigating identity. To offer understanding, compassion, and guidance through lived experience, professional insight, and emotional awareness. To be someone you can talk to openly, whether it’s your first time sharing or you're just looking for someone who gets it.
My EducationHigher grade levels, mental health nursing,
My ExperienceI’ve spent over 27 years working as a PSO (phone support operator), connecting with people from all walks of life. In that time, I’ve listened to countless stories full of emotion, questions, courage, and vulnerability, and I’ve always offered a safe space to talk honestly, without judgment. I’m also a trained mental health nurse, and although I no longer work in that field professionally, I’ve completed several counselling and emotional support courses. Mental well-being and emotional understanding have always been important to me, especially when it comes to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals. Beyond my work, I have friends and family members who have gone through their own coming out journeys, and I’ve walked beside them every step of the way, learning, listening, and holding space. All of this gives me a unique mix of professional understanding and real-life compassion, so you can open up knowing you’re truly being heard by someone who understands.
